Simon Shemia
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Simon Shemia has served as the CEO of Honor Health Network since its inception in 2016. Under his leadership, Honor Health Network has expanded its network to include fifteen agencies and multiple adult day care centers servicing 7,000+ patients with 8,000+ caregivers across five states and D.C. His industry knowledge and key relationships have been instrumental in developing the company’s short and long-term goals, strategic vision, and multi-market expansion. During his time as CEO, HHN has been recognized for building a platform of Home Health Care agencies with a focus on quality of care and technology.
A major factor in HHN’s successful growth is Simon’s ability to forge consensus, empower and motivate teams to focus on and achieve a high level of patient satisfaction and employee retention.
Prior to becoming CEO at HHN, Simon served in many senior executive leadership roles with healthcare agencies focused on delivering operational excellence, business growth, and innovation.
Nathan Tempelman
Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Nathan is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business operations, driving operational efficiencies, and successful execution of Honor’s growth strategy. Nathan works closely with each leadership team and focuses on ensuring that high-quality compliant care is at the forefront of the business.
In addition, Nathan has helped propel Honor’s expansion into 5 additional states and has been particularly impactful with the many acquisitions Honor has made and the ensuing integration of them.
Prior to joining the Honor Health Network team, Nathan spent nearly 7 years as the Assistant Administrator for Edison Home Health Care, a NY-based Home Care Agency. His responsibilities included overall day-to-day operations, customer retention, employee engagement, and execution of new company initiatives. Nathan also managed the paraprofessional services department. He worked closely with contracts and patients and handled many regulatory audits.
Nathan’s sharp understanding of the Health Care Industry is critical to Honor Health Network continued growth and expansion.
Nathan is a 2010 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a concentration in Business Management & Administration.
Isaac Soussan
Chief Financial Officer
Isaac joined Honor Health Network in 2017 as the Executive Vice President of Finance. In 2022, he was promoted to CFO of the Company and is responsible for managing the company’s global finances and accounting, financial planning and reporting, internal controls, treasury, audit, tax, and procurement. Isaac brings over 14 years of experience as a finance professional.
Isaac oversees the day-to-day financial management and operations of Honor Health Network’s group of companies. Being part of the Executive team, Isaac works closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors on mergers and acquisitions, investors relations and risk management. Prior to joining Honor Health Network, Isaac served as the Controller for MZL Home Care, and a member of its Executive Committee. Isaac began his career at KPMG in their New York audit practice.
Isaac holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Yeshiva University and speaks four languages: French, Hebrew, Arabic and English.
Alex Pfeffer
CHRO
Alex is the Chief Human Resources officer for Honor Health Network and its subsidiaries. Joining the team in 2020 as an accomplished Human Resources leader with extensive experience in assisting companies in fast-growth environments, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Alex has a strong foundation in strategic HR practices and a demonstrated track record of driving positive change within organizations. Alex oversees a number of teams where he uses his expertise in implementing effective recruitment strategies, fostering inclusive workplace cultures, and optimizing HR processes.
He is a proactive leader who excels in building collaborative relationships, promoting employee well-being, and developing innovative HR solutions. His excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse environments make him an asset to any organization. Alex is passionate about fostering employee growth and engagement and consistently leverages his knowledge of HR best practices to support organizational goals.
As the company’s leadership mentor, he oversees Honor Health Network’s r ever-expanding training and development programs for both administrative staff and front-line caregivers in the field.
Alex holds a Master’s in Communication Psychology and has been a certified and practicing coach and volunteer career counselor.
Tova Bernbaum
Chief Compliance Officer
Tova is Chief Compliance Officer and In-House Counsel for Honor Health Network and its subsidiaries. She joined Honor in January 2022, overseeing the company’s compliance program across all entities, advising and training on any legal developments in the home care space, and ensuring all new acquisitions apply the same high standards as the established entities in Honor’s portfolio.
Tova is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law with nearly a decade of experience in Employment Law, the last five of which were spent in the health care space. She generally works out of the company’s Brooklyn office, where she resides.
CJ Rambler
Vice President of Strategy and Development
CJ is the Vice President of Strategy and Development for Honor Health Network and its Pennsylvania subsidiary, Angels on Call. She has been with the company since 2015 and is responsible for the operations, government and payer relations and multi-market expansion within the Commonwealth.
CJ currently serves as the Board President of the Pennsylvania Home Care Association, and is a member of the Public Policy, Education, and Membership Committees. She is also part of a Quality Management Committee that strives to improve the caliber of home and community- based services for all Pennsylvanians.
CJ graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2009 and is proud to help serve the community in which she grew up.
Ed Gershman
VP Partnership & Market Development
Since 2017, Ed has served as the VP of Partnership & Market Development for Honor Health Network. In his current role, Ed is charged with strategic planning, business, and market development for the Honor Health Network family of companies. He is also responsible for branding, messaging, and developing the company’s strategic initiatives to achieve long and short-term goals.
Ed collaborates closely with the Executive team on setting the tone, voice, positioning, and brand guidelines for Honor Health Network’s new market expansion, its diverse portfolio of services, and its associated family of companies. He is also responsible for all online and offline strategies for Honor Health Network and subsidiary brands.
Prior to joining Honor Health Network, Ed served in leadership positions within various companies in health care, media, and entertainment marketing.
A graduate of Temple University with a Bachelor of Science, Ed sits on several local community boards and organizations.
